Lillith "Lilly" Brenner is the deceased mother of Quinn Brenner and wife of Sean Brenner. The whole plot of the movie is based around Quinn attempting to contact her mother from beyond the grave. She asks Elise to help her, but Quinn ends up attracting the attention of a malevolent entity that wishes to feed off her soul and drag her into the Further. Lillith's spirit appears to Quinn in the Further, and guides her back to the real world, saving her from the demon. After Quinn is saved, Elise tells Quinn that Lillith was present at her audition and that she's very proud of her. Elise also tells Quinn and Sean that they no longer have to look for Lillith, because she will always be with them - even if they can't see her.
